Following the news earlier in the week that a member of our first team squad tested positive for Covid-19, I can provide the following update.

We can confirm that the SFA have carried out the relevant Test & Trace investigations. This has resulted in two members of our squad having to enter an isolation period whilst a further 4 members, who are double vaccinated, had to take and return a negative PCR test in order to be cleared to resuming footballing duties.
We are pleased to confirm that all four tests have been returned negative and the four players in question have been given approval from the relevant authorities to resume training with the first team squad immediately.

We are thankful to the SFA and the authorities for their support and cooperation throughout the process and we therefore deem the case closed.

Our league match at home to Keith FC will go ahead on Saturday.

As a club we shall remain extremely vigilant as the safety and well-being of all members of our club remain the utmost priority for us, and this case serves a reminder that the virus is very much still present within our communities.

Finally we publicly wish to take the opportunity to wish our player a speedy recovery from the virus.
