A further player has signed a new contract with the club.

Forward Daniel Critchard has signed a new three year deal to stay with the club until summer 2024.

The former Cove Rangers youth came into the side last year in good goalscoring form over pre-season and made his competitive debut off the bench in a three-nil win over Dalbeattie Star in the Scottish Cup in December 2020, however Injury would rule the 20 year old out of the remainder of that season’s games.

Manager Allan Hale feels Critchard gives his side another attacking option this season. he said: “Daniel did so well for us last pre-season when we came into the club. He was one who could really impact games in a positive manner and would’ve been a key player for us last season but unfortunately picked up a hip injury which ruled him out for several months.

He seems to be over the worst of the injury problems now and will resume full training shortly and I think he’s a player once fans see the best of him, he’ll really excite the supporters here.”
