Midfielder Calum Reid is the latest player to sign a new contract with the club.

The 20 year old has come through the under 17s and under 20s squads and has penned a new deal to extend his stay at Christie Park until summer 2024.

Calum who has spent loan spells at Glentanar at Stoneywood Parkvale won the under 20s player of the year for 2018/19 and was made nine squad appearances for the first team debuting at home to Buckie Thistle in a 4-3 win on 26th October 2019.

Reid will spend the rest of 2020/21 season on loan with Banchory St Ternan and Manager Allan Hale feels the loan will be beneficial for the former under 20’s Player of the Year.

Hale said: “Calum has done well, he’s a young player who’s learning his was in the game so we’ve gave him a long term contract to give him that commitment to show that we’ve got trust in him to develop her and get himself into our team. We’ve put him out to Banchory where he’ll do well under the guidance of Anton Lennox and his coaching staff. He’ll get game time and that will benefit him heading into next season as he looks to force his way into the squad.”
