Huntly Manager John Teasdale has taken his signing total for the club to twelve players with the addition of three new additions to the squad.

Peterhead duo Peter-Alexander Bruce and Paul Young have signed on loan from the second division club until the January transfer window opens.

Midfielder Young (18) came through Peterhead’s youth system and came on as a sub in the blue toon’s friendly win at Christie Park back in July while Bruce (20) netted twice against the black and gold’s last summer also in a friendly.

Also signing on is former Wick Academy full back Grant Campbell. The twenty year old came into the Highland League at the start of last season and has put pen to paper on a short term deal.

Speaking tonight after getting the trio signed up, Teasdale said: “we’re always looking to take new players into the club and have been tracking Peter since pre-season. He’s got a lot of pace which is something we’ve lacked up front and with him and Franny More coming in they along with Michael McGinlay when he’s fit will give us options.

Paul Young is a very tidy player in the middle of the park who likes to get on the ball and works hard and impressed me when he came on against us during pre-season.

Grant got in touch with us about training and we’ve taken a look at him and I’ve heard good things about him and I now hope the three new lads will do well for us.”
