Huntly continue rebuilding their squad ahead of the new season moving to bring a player back to the club on loan.

Ryan McRitchie has today completed a loan move from Inverness Caledonian Thistle until mid-January.

The 19 year old defender made four appearances on loan at the end of last season scoring one goal and impressed with his displays in the back four.

Huntly Manager Charlie Charlesworth was delighted to take the teenager back to Christie Park again.

He said: “I’m pleased to get Ryan back to the club on loan. I thank Danny Macdonald and Caley for their support in this signing and not forgetting Ryan himself. He has earned a new contract at Caley and had a lot of options available to him including higher divisions than ourselves but he’s returning the trust and support shown to him at the latter end of last season by everyone at Huntly, making it clear we were his first choice.

He made a big impact last season and we hope we can provide the springboard for his future development. The addition of Ryan greatly assists our defensive posture and releases our more attacking type of players in their more accustomed positions.”
