Huntly have had an excellent first season in the A- League this year and finished fourth and it will be worked on through the summer and progress it into next season and hopefully do better than this year.
All players played well tonight after a long hard season and hard work and are worthy of the break now.
Positives from tonight were the debut of Paul Clark in which we see is a promising player with alot of potential and hopefully see alot more of him next season and beyond, The back four keeping the strikers at bay, Jamie keeping a clean sheet and gaining confidence in the last few games and the workrate of all players on the pitch tonight was very good in the conditions we had to play in.
And last but not least to all the parents who braved the weather at Pitmedden and supported the lads all through the season as always, you make it worth our while doing this year in year out as you all are brilliant!!
Enjoy the long lies on Sundays as it wont be long before it all starts over again!
Trials next Friday 18th and following Friday 25th, All players to come along and if anyone else wants to try out for next season they are more than welcome.

Sunday saw Huntly 97's host East End BC having met them only 2 weeks ago in Aberdeen. That match ended in a 4-1 win for Huntly, but with title in their own hands, nothing could be taken for granted.
Last week saw Huntly U15's in 2 must win games if they were to keep top spot and carry on the march to the title. 1st up was a tricky away game against Donside who had previously notched up 2 victories against Huntly, one in the Cup and another which wasa home league defeat by 5 goals to 1.
Last Saturday, (7th April), the 19's were at home to Kemnay in our final home 19's "A League" game of the season at The Meadows. We were without Scott Cooper (attending a golden wedding), Phil Morrison (unavailable) and Lewis Walker (on holiday) for this fixture against Kemnay who had held us to a 0 - 0 draw a few weeks ago in the reverse fixture. Back into the squad for this match came Craig Gordon and Connor Melville who had missed our last 2 matches.
