Huntly FC Supporters Club has arranged a Fundraising night with a difference for Friday 9th April 2010 in the Huntly FC Social Club, where a Comedy night will take place featuring comedians, Bob Doolally (famously one of Scotland’s unused substitutes at Wembley in 1967) and Sean Grant , with Compere for the night Daniel Sloss.

Supporters Club Vice Chairman, Alan Robertson, said “We are being faced with ever increasing prices to hire buses for away games, and the new format of the Scottish Cup has brought this even more into focus as we found this year with our two very enjoyable but rather expensive away days. We like to keep the costs for members down to a reasonable level, by either securing sponsorship or arranging Fundraising events to subsidise these long journeys.”

“We held two very successful Quiz nights last year to raise funds, but our Chairman, James McKay suggested we try something different this time and came up with the idea of a Comedy night, which the whole committee are very enthusiastic about. James in particular has put in an enormous amount of work to make this happen, so we hope our members will show us their support for what should be a very entertaining evening.”

“Numbers are restricted and the show is expected to be a sell out so if a night of fun and laughter appeals to you act now as tickets are being sold on a first come, first served basis.”

Tickets are priced at £12.50 (over 18s only) and are available from Rizza's, Huntly FC Social Club, or from any member of the Supporters Club Committee.
