Build Up: Both sides will be looking
to start 2006 with with a win as reigning Champions Huntly entertain
Buckie Thistle at Christie Park.
The Jags have been somewhat of a bogey team for the black and golds
over the last few years with a goal-less draw back in August and
a 2-0 defeat in the first round of the Aberdeenshire Shield.
You'd have to go back over five years for the last time Huntly
won a home league meeting versus Buckie. That was in October 2000
when Martin Stewart, Gary Nicol and Eddie Copland netted in a 3-1
win. Steven Rattray grabbed a consolation for the visitors.
Onto present day, Duncan Shearer's side currently sit in 3rd place
with 32 points while Billy Anderson side are in 9th on 26pts both
