Transfer News: Duo Depart
As we move into the month of July, two players have completed moves out of Christie Park.
Bruce Cormie was pictured in an Inverurie Loco Works last month alongside Michael Morrison, Brian Neill and Ritchie Davidson and with his contract expiring yesterday (30th June) he is now officially a Locos player.
Back in September 2006, Cormie was one of his father Dave’s first signings and before departing prematurely in October last year scored 34 goals in 80 squad appearances for the black and golds.

Also on the way out is goalkeeper Stewart Gray. The 22 year old keeper picked up a challenge cup winner’s medal after only a couple of weeks at the club.
Gray was the first choice keeper for a while before injury struck late on in that season and in 2008/09 he managed only 1 sub appearance for the black and golds coming on following Ross Bremner’s sending-off at Clachnacuddin. Gray spent some time out on loan with Fort William and latterly junior side Hillhead.
Stewart will get his chance at Highland League level again when he turns out for Formartine United and could well line up against Huntly in September at North Lodge.
