William Hill Scottish Cup 1st Round: Huntly v Wick Academy

Two penalties from David Booth helped Huntly secure their first win since 26th March as the black and gold’s booked their place in the Scottish Cup second round with a 2-1 victory over Wick Academy.

Assistant Manager Mark Gray admitted that the performance and the result from his side was the perfect way to end a bad run of form.

A late Paweł Nowacki equaliser denied Fort William their first win in 21 games.

With Manager Gregg Carrol serving the first of a two game suspension it was his two assistants who were left to take charge of matters on the pitch as Steven Dolan admitted they got a reaction from their players in the second half.

Breedon Aggregates Highland League Cup Quarter-Final: Huntly v Lossiemouth

Lossiemouth set up a semi-final meeting with Clachnacuddin after Shawn Scott netted for the first time since returning to the club.

Huntly Manager Gregg Carrol admitted a mad two minute spell in which his side levelled then conceded proved costly.

Huntly’s poor form at home continued with no wins in their last three matches at Christie Park as Assistant Manager Steven Dolan admitted it was a frustrating afternoon.
