Huntly’s under 17s put in an impressive performance against Lossiemouth running out 5-1 winners in a friendly at Christie Park.
The hosts went ahead after nine minutes when Matthew Begg played a low pass across the visitor's box for Captain Keigan Mathers (left) to fire low inside the post.
Huntly were awarded a penalty in the 22nd minute when Mika Askildsen was fouled by Robbie Bruce. Keigan Mathers stroked in the spot kick low inside the post for his second goal.
Lossie pulled one back in the 25th minute when Evan Wilson netted with a standing overhead shot inside of the post.
Good work from Begg created another goal and he crossed from the left flank, Rowan Millar (right) met the ball first time to finish close range.
Five minutes from interval, goalscorer Mathers turned provider sending in a cross from the by-line for Rowan Millar to power in a header at the back post.

Huntly made six changes at the interval taking the chance to run the rule over some trialist, however they did add to the tally in the 73rd minute when substitute Ewan Skinner (left) fired in a shot on the turn after Lossie goalkeeper Ryan Wilson failed to deal with a Dillon Farquhar ball into the box.
