A warm welcome to everyone to today's Highland League Cup tie against Brora Rangers and of course a special welcome to all our friends from Sutherland.
We are delighted to be hosting today's tie following our great win in the last round against Fraserburgh, but it is difficult to think of a greater challenge than facing today’s opponents and the gods of the draw have not been terribly kind to us this year so far. Having said that we have enjoyed some great games against Brora over the past year or two and i hope we are in for another exciting encounter today.

Apart from the disappointing result against Cove, I think it's fair to say that our new management team have got off to a good start and indeed with a little rub of the green could have had another couple of wins as well. I know Andy and Tommy are both pleased with progress so far but are ambitious to finish the season on as positive a note as possible and achieve as many wins as they can in the run in, and they know we are all right behind them as they attempt to take us forward.

Off the park, last night the club held a community open night to let everyone see the plans for converting Christie park into an all-weather sports facility and I do hope as many of you as possible were able to come along and hear all about this exciting development. If you didn't and would like to hear a little more, please feel free to ask any of the officials and we would be delighted to provide more information or answer any questions.

We have our annual boxing dinner coming up on the 31st March, which is always an excellent night and an important fundraiser for the club. If you would like to enquire about tickets or tables, please see the club website and or ask any of the club officials who will be delighted to assist.

It only leaves me to thank you once again for your support and to wish you an enjoyable afternoon here at Christie Park.
