It’s a disappointing run at the moment as we going into tomorrow’s game with Turriff United failing to win the last five games.

We beat Turriff in the corresponding fixture last season but they beat us twice at Christie Park the previous season so we know if both teams are form it’s a game which could go either way.

As we’ve seen with recent home games with Fort William and Strathspey Thistle there’s no game in the Highland League this season that you could take for granted as an easy fixture and that you know you’re going to win by a comfortable score line.

Turriff will be as hard a test as Deveronvale were last week and games will continue to get harder as we progress each week so if anyone think we take any team lightly they clearly don’t know how much respect we have for everybody in the league. Turriff have got a good side and they work hard.

What pleased me last week against Deveronvale was we showed a little bit of spirit and fight for each other in the second half and at times we’ve probably been accused of lying down against some teams. It was pleasing to see the opposition were throwing tackles in and we did the same to them and if I’m honest both teams were fortunate to finish with eleven men
