Huntly have begun building for the 2019/20 season with their first close season signing as Manager Martin Skinner looks to bolster his attacking options with the addition of another forward.

A deal has been completed today to bring Dyce forward Paul Esslemont to the club until 2022.

The 20 year old netted 7 goals in 23 appearance for the juniors last season and Martin Skinner was delighted to improve on the striking options at the club.

He said: We’re delighted we have managed to sign Paul on a long term deal.

Paul is someone we spent a lot of time watching last season. He is a fit young lad and will really bolster out attacking threat. Paul can play numerous attacking positions and will fit our shape and style of play perfectly. At 20 years of age he has huge potential as we continue to develop what is already a youthful squad.”
