After back to back defeats in their first two league games, Nairn County found themselves bottom of the table and after a superb performance over on Saturday they kick-started their season with a superb 6-1 win over Huntly.

Nairn Manager Les Fridge was pleased with the performance of his players from start to finish. Huntly now find themselves second bottom of the table with only Fort William worse off on goal difference and after seeing his side concede fifteen goals in all competitions losing four times. John Teasdale praised the performance of keeper Neil Hastie while hinting he may be looking to buy and sell players within the next week.
