League Cup Wins
After beating Forres 7-3 in the semis, Huntly went onto face
Elgin City at Kynoch Park. A 5-2 win saw the club win the Highland League Cup for the first time in 1948/49.
The team which played that day was: Crawford, Cooper, Rough, Robertson, Paterson, Park, Macdonald, Warnock, Martin, Nicol, and Mennie.

They went on to repeat that feat in 1951 when Jock Massie & Abby Rough had starring roles as Huntly beat Forres Mechanics 4-1 in front of 6800 fans. Goals came from Murray (3) and Carroll.
Line-Up: Duguid, McLeod, Rough, Massie, Roy, Robertson, Cowie, Paterson, Carroll, Martin, Murray
